Pedego was founded in California in 2007 by Don Dicostanzo and Terry Sherry. Today we have expanded to over 200 dealers in the US alone while also establishing distribution in Canada, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and now Europe.

In Europe we have established dealers and sales in Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Iceland and Holland.

Our European Operations are headquartered in the UK where all production and distribution operations are carried out to facilitate convenient and efficient growth in the European markets. This allows us to continue to focus on our outstanding customer service and after sales operations for both our dealer network and customers who buy directly from us.

In the US we now offer over 60 colour combinations and styles. This is continuing to grow as the levels of demand for our products continue to increase.

In Europe we are launching with a more restricted number of colours while we affirm what the most popular colours are likely to be. It is fascinating already to see the variety of interest and expression from different parts of Europe. However, we have established a flexible operational system where customers can order bicycles of any colour they wish, perhaps to co-ordinate with a brand or marketing style as long as 5 bikes or more are ordered.

Where in the US we have increased the number of colours we have also increased the number of different models available, including a Tandem electric bicycle and our distinctive off-road Interceptor. In 2012 we are also launching a series of electric commuting bicycles.
