Leeds is the perfect definition of the ‘La Dolce Vita’ (The Good Life) thanks to its food, culture and landscapes. The constructed heritage is one you can admire while riding through the heart of the city. Leeds has masses to offer, along with Harewood House and Temple Newsam, Kirkgate Market is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable and prized landmarks.
The city is also the perfect base for discovering the local scenery. There’s a great cycling network in Leeds, meaning that it’s easier for you to navigate your way in and around the city on a premium Pedego Electric Bike!! Otley Chevin Forest Park is an hour’s ride outside Leeds. Walk or cycle through the park with a wonderful view of the Wharfedale from the 282meter Surprise View peak; one of the best viewpoints in the Peak District.
You also have to visit Saltaire or ride down to Ilkley for a picturesque stroll through the fabulous market towns. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, call into Casa Mia in Chapel Allerton for some well-known authentic Italian dishes.

Start at the Queens Hotel and ride the River Aire towpath to the Leventhorpe Vineyard to sample delicious local wines, and canapes. Then ride by Temple Newsam House and through the estate before swinging by Casa Mia for a hands-on cooking lesson on how to master Italian food.

Start ride from the Queens Hotel, ride west through Burley and Kirkstall to Kirkstall Abbey to feel a true sense of the past as you stroll through its tranquil grounds, surrounded by stunning tree-filled parkland on the banks of the River Aire. One of the most complete Cistercian monasteries in Britain, the abbey is a marvel to behold with its dramatic architecture.
12:30 – 2:30 pm: Queens Hotel Heritage Tour:
See parts of Leeds most iconic hotel that are not available to the general public. tour begins at 1.00pm with a welcome tea or coffee served from 12.30pm. The tour will take approximately 90 minutes and Afternoon Tea will be served from 2.30pm.

Start at Queens Hotel and ride west through the neighbourhoods of Sheepscar, Moortown, and Alwoodley. We will stop and visit Harewood House, the historic Georgian property built in the 1760s. From the moment you arrive, Harewood captures your imagination and feeds your curiosity. It’s a place filled with art, culture and heritage which continues to develop and thrive today. With bags of space to run around, a massive adventure playground, penguins, flamingos and parrots there’s no shortage of adventure for kids of all ages (even the grown up ones!).
It all wraps up with a delicious farewell dinner with all your new fun-loving Pedego friends!

What happens once I book?
When a vacation is booked, a confirmation letter is immediately sent out by your personal Pedego Vacation Concierge. One week prior to the trip start, you’ll received an email containing your trip start meeting location reminder and any last-minute information that you’ll need to know before you go. Once you arrive at your destination, Pedego staff will brief you on the day-to-day plan for the trip.
